I thought it would be cool to start a thread and see what ELSE everyone flies.
I'm still less than one year in the hobby, so other than the complete Venus lineup, this is all I got... |

RE: Pics of your NON-pattern planes!
Nice airplane Arch! Is that a custom scheme?
|
RE: Pics of your NON-pattern planes!
Ryan,
Nope, not custom....That is the X-thorn scheme. There werent many produced. A good friend of mine (Nick Burik) had it and I bought it and finished it. Nick actually finished the plane last summer and flew it one flight. Then the plane was run over by a runaway plane in the pits destroying the right wing, and fuse. Nick had one flight of about 2 minutes on the plane. Thankfully the guy who was flying the other plane's home owner's paid for the replacement parts. Nick knew he wouldnt have time to finish the plane before he left Del Rio for his next assignment with the USAF. Nick is in Oregon now with the Air Force and was figuring on getting stationed overseas, so he wasnt going to have a chance to fly it anyway. Weighs 39.5lbs and has tons of vertical and is just getting better as the engine breaks in. Arch |

Hi All,
I'm relatively new to the Pattern scene here in the US, but thought I'd pipe in with my 'Sunday Sport Flyer' plane! [link=http://www.georbeckha.com/RC_Planes/ShockJet/Entries/2008/8/3_Success.html]Sunday Flyer[/link] George in Colorado |

RE: Pics of your NON-pattern planes!
Rendegate,
the beach view is excellent. Which thermal model is this in your photo (third) ? |

The only plane I fly beside pattern is full scale aerobatics, with a Super Decathlon, and Extra 300....... Defenetly a Show Stopper. :)
