Lone Star Pattern Challenge - Crosby, TX - Pics/Results

Lone Star Pattern Challenge
June 13 & 14, 2009
PropNuts R/C Flying Club, Crosby, Texas
Contest Directors: Richard Lewis, Mark Hunt

This contest was placed on the D6 calendar after the cancellation of the Jetero and Nederland contests in June. We wanted to give Houston area Pattern fliers another opportunity to compete prior to the Nationals in July. PropNuts R/C club stepped up and agreed to host this contest in place of the Jetero event. They have a fantastic field and are great hosts, so come on out and compete. The field is about 12 miles due south of Jetero and is convenient to I-10.

See flier for details on location, hotels, etc...

Thanks to everyone that has pre-registered so far.

Looks like we are going to have a good time. Seems to be a nice spread of competitive pilots across the whole spectrum of classes.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there.

I'm going to get my behind kicked in the IMACcontest at Prop-Nuts in Crosby this weekend flying mytiny, gnat sized Yak -54 (72 inch/Moki 180)in Sportsman. Should be really fun...:) I'll try to post couple of pics of the facilities next week.

Please keep sending the pre-registration info to [email protected]

Thanks
Richard

Hey D6ers,

I won't be around for awhile as I am still over in Korea for a few months, and then I am off for my next assignment in Japan. I am hoping to get some pattern flying in there. I hope the competition season is treating everyone well.
