Looking for current Pattern Sequences from other countries
 
I just got bored and was reading old Japanese magazine with a pattern sequences.

Here in the US, we are using AMA sequences + FAI.

If you are from other countries, would you post the sequences of each classes?

Robert,

So, for Novice class you choose 9 manuevers out of the 23?
How many classes do Ireland actually use?
I only see Masters and novice.

Zimbabwe pattern
 
Hi Patternflyer

In Zimbabwe we fly 4 different classes. Novice, Intermediatte, Expert and FAI

Here are the various schedules for the 1st 3 disciplines. The FAI is obviously the international P03/F03 until December when it change to P05 and F05.


Novice

1 Take off sequence
2 Two Inside Loops
3 Two horizontal rolls
4 Square inside loop
5 Cuban 8
6 Stall turn with 1/4 rolls
7 45 degree down 1/2 roll on centre (inv entry)
8 Double immelman
9 Straight inverted flight
10 Reverse outside loop, 1/2 roll entry & exit
11 Two opposite rolls
12 Landing approach, rectangular
13 Landing

All manoeuvres are centred, there are no turnarounds to perform.


Intermediatte

1 Take off sequence
2 Top hat with 1/2 rolls
3 Stall turn, full roll up
4 Three horizontal rolls
5 Immelmann turn
6 Two outside loops
7 Half square loop, 1/2 roll down
8 Triangle rolling loop, full roll over top
9 Humpty bump with rolls, pilot's option
10 Vertical 2/4 point roll up, exit inverted
11 Half loop
12 Two of 2 point roll, same direction
13 Half square loop, 1/2 roll up
14 Two turn spin
15 Half reverse cuban eight
16 Double immelmann
17 Landing approach, rectangular
18 Landing


Expert

1 Take off sequence
2 Reverse cuban eight
3 Humpty bump, 1/2 roll up(pull for 1/2 loop over top)
4 Four point roll
5 Stall turn, 2/4 point roll up, 1/2 roll down
6 Square loop with four 1/2 rolls
7 Top hat with 1/4 rolls (flat top inverted)
8 Square loop on corner
9 Immelmann turn
10 45 deg down, full positive snap roll
11 Half cuban eight, 2/4 point roll down
12 Two loops with two 1/2 rolls
13 Half square loop, full roll up
14 Inverted three turn spin, exit inverted
15 Humpty bump with rolls, pilots option
16 Two of 2-point roll, opposite direction.
17 Stall turn, full roll up
18 Double immelmann, full rolls
19 Landing

Irish pattern classes
 
Pattern flyer,

In Ireland novice is a fixed turnaround schedule, the schedule you saw was an old one. We fly three classes, Novice, Masters and F3A. At present we have around 12-15 pilots in F3A, 5-6 in Masters and only 1-2 in Novice. Most of the pilots have progressed through the classes and that is why F3A is larger than the other classes

I am still trying to find where those sequences are for the Spain :D.

it's fun to look at all those sequences.
Anyone from Asia? I am from Korea, but am still searching for the Korean sequences.

Here is a link to the australian pattern site, we are trying to get the manouvers in the sportsman schedule that have verticals changed so that more people with less capable aircraft can still have a go at competitions.
