Quest 3D & YS 100..Anyone Have This Setup?
 

I have a Quest 3D on the way as well as a YS 110 but would sure appreciate any information from people that already have this set up going. Thanks ahead of time for any help......

I've spotted this one too. I am looking at it as a possible candidate for electric conversion. However, after asking nicely, I can't get the guys at Creek Hobbies to weigh one fresh out of the box for me so I can determine if it's a slug or not.

When yours arrives, could you perhaps weigh the bare airframe with the supplied hardware and post it here? If it has conversion potential, many of us electric flyers would be very interested.

Creek Hobbies site says, " 7 1/5 lbs to 9 lbs. I am putting in all small digital servos so I hope to be in the 8 lb. range. If that is the case the YS 110 should push it right along.....

Yeah, 7.5 to 9 lb. is a pretty broad range to try and calculate AUW on. I need something like "76 oz" to be meaningful, since I know the weight of my equipment. But, I need the "out of the box" weight, not built and ready to fly weight, which is what Creek Hobbies lists, and assumes glow power.
