If you can get the Testors Candy Blue paint that they use for car bodies, I have used that with good success. Just put a couple of coats on the inside of the canopy and you will get a nice transparent blue. The more coats you put on the darker the blue.

Hi, Philippe

Generally everybody use chemical colorant for dyeing a clear canopy ( but I have had no experience).
How to use of the dyes for resin and so on is as follows.

1 Dilute the dyes with water to 5%.
2 Warm the aqueous solution until 60c degree to 80c degree.
3 Dip a canopy to the warmed aqueous solution.
4 Wash away the canopy with neutral detergent.

Sarashina, I've never had good luck with doing that. I either have ended up with a weakly tinted canopy, or worse, a well tinted warped "thing"

Maybe we have the wrong plastic here in australia.

I've used a product found here in the US called RIT dye. It is found at the local grocery stores and its used to dye clothing. It is in a powder form. Just pour it into a bucket of very warm water stir it up and put the canopy in. Its like coloring easter eggs. Good luck.
