I had sent a receiver back to Horizon Hobby for repair, it's a AR7000 that was in a helicopter that I traded for. Well, both antanna.s on both receivers were damaged, so I sent them for repair.

Horizon was so nice they sent me a brand new receiver. But now something funny is happening, and I wonder if anybody has had the same thing ?

As I hook up ANY thing to the receiver I must trim , sand them on the slim side, ALL plugs before I install them into the receiver. At first I thought it was just the cheap switch that I had, you know, poor quality control. But NOOOOOooooo, Any thing that I plug into this receiver is a real ***** to get in and almost imposible to get out.

Sounds like the PCboard is off centered in the case. I would send it back for a repair. What you are experiencing will put a lot of strain on the pins. They may eventually break off the board or the solder connections weaken. Get it fixed before flying.

Just a quickie, if your servo plugs are the Futaba type with the little tabs on the side, you need to first cut them off so it will fit into the rx. If that still doesn't do it then Iwould do as suggested by Don.

Yeah, I guess your right. I hate sending this back to Horizon, cause as I said, it's a brand new receiver that they sent me in exchange for the one I sent for repair. Oh well. Ken
