Default Older Futaba r/c system, worth anything?

Hello, my family ran accross this older Futaba r/c system in my dad's basement, he used to make airplanes. Everything is brand new and never flown, we were wondering if it is worth anything? The batteries do take a charge and the servos (only 2 of them) seem to work. If it is of minimal $ value I would be willing to ship it to someone provided they pay the shipping cost.

My apologies if this post is misplaced.

That's about 25 years old, and was a pretty basic system in it's day. It is not old/rare enough to be collectible, and is way out-of-date for use today. If you find airplane kits from that era in the basement, they could have value.

Take a look on Ebay and see what is there. Also if you have old kits they can be worth lots on Ebay. Old Sterling kits etc that were maybe $5 or so in the 50's can fetch $100+ on Ebay. Lots of collectors and older builders out there.

Good luck.
