Default suggestions help for new surface tx

First off, I mostly run boats. I also do not race, just a sport boater.

Second, Money is an issue. . . I have none.

What I really want is a nice tx. I also would really like telemetry. But I have no money. . .

Here is where I am at;

Telemetry options I most would like to have (if I get it at all)
1. Temp for motor
2. Second Temp for ESC.
3. Battery Voltage (not rx voltage but the main pack)
any extras would be nice. I also know I won't get it all.

I have been looking at the Airtronics MT-4 and it has most everything I want (telem. volt. is rx). . . but even though I can probably save up and get the tx first time around, Paying either $60.00 to $130.00 for additional rx's is what kills me. I am just hoping China will make a cheap knock off rx.

I have been looking at the Hobby King HK-GT3B, $28.00 and $6.00 for additional rx's. Yeah it's basic but I run boats for fun (2 channels, no need for fancy programing) That is more like it. If I got this I would then buy a separate system for telemetry, while not a great solution, it makes it affordable, and I can move the telemetry from one model to the next without changing the rx.

All that being said, what are some suggestions? What have others done? Like's? Dislikes?
