Default transmitter and reciever binding

Being a total nube to this site and to rc in general, I need to know if anyone can help me find out if it is possible to bind a Walkara 2.4 4 channel transmitter WK 2402 to an airtronics RX 500 reciever. If this is the wrong forum please direct me to the correct one.
Thanks Jim

In most cases, you cannot Bind a transmitter from one manufacturer to a receiver from another manufacturer. There are some 3rd party knockoffs, from China, for Futaba and JR/Spektrum, but in most cases, you could only do it if the Rx was identified as being compatible.
