Hitex HS-5625MG Servo Arm Screw Size
I am wanting to get rid of the *&##@ philips head servo arm screws and using socket head screws. In researching what size the screws are I am seeing people saying all different sizes. Looks like 2.5 or 2.6 by 8mm but which one?

Don't see the screw size listed there. That is a good site though. Just bought a couple sets of gears for the servo there the other day.

Servo screws do not haveUSA style Phillips head screwswhich is why some USA users with ill fitting screwdrivers ream the heads out . Refer to:

MicroFasteners has socket head servo screws for Hitec and others. I like socket head screws more than phillips head.

A 2.5 diameter will go in the servo and unfortunately lots of people including the LHS's around here will tell you that's the correct size but it is not and is a large part of the reason people say you have to use LocTite on 'em as well.
