I've run those old 94102's for years on 5 cell and also 2s A123. Never an issue[8D]
I don't think you can kill those servos[8D]
I have 5 of them with new servo leads in my 4 Star 60 "beater" FASST R617FS and 2S 1100mAh A123 pack

RE: Can I use 5 cell on airtronics 94102 servo
All,
I've run 94102 for a few RD6000Super installs and all worked well running 72 Mhz. Ran a few installs using 94824 2.4 receiver with the RDS8000 no problems noted. The hightech Aurora 9 using the 7 channel receiver didnt like the 94102 servo on 2.4, Changed out to a coreless servo and all worked well. SD-10G on FHSS3 didnt like the 102 servo., but then its not supposed to.
All the above installs were A123 at 6.6 VDC.
