"By Germans, For Germans" is how we talk about it.

I don't know about "right away" but it will be at some point. I have very little to do with a product once it goes off to the factory and the first customer shipments. My job is working on the AirWare with several other programmers; making it, fixing issues, and adding features. I have enough to do without worrying about shipping schedules!

I am sure you do, but some of us are worried about shipping schedules as we have been waiting a long time for this radio.

The only thing I can say with certainty is "soon" - the factory is making them and the distribution centers are shipping them. If you really want one, order it about 6 months ago to get yourself closer to the head of the queue. They were taking orders with the original announcement of the radio 2 years ago - I suspect those stores are the ones getting them first.

I played with one this weekend at an event, not something I'd be planning on buying. Its a nice radio but the feel is just a little too weird for my taste.
