Default Where to buying a crystal for hitec focus 4?

Hi,
I need a crystal for a focus 4 transmitter. Are all crystals the same ? I'm wondering because since they don't make the focus 4 anymore where could I find one If they aren't the same? What crystal would I use if they are the same?

It is not legal, under FCC regulations, to change crystals in transmitters without retuning the tx (which requires the proper licensing); the transmitter needs to be returned to the manufacturer's service center (or to an independent licensed service center like Tony Stillman at Radio South, website: radiosouthrc.com) to be retuned when a crystal change is made. This is a safety issue; to ensure the transmitter is broadcasting a signal which IS on the indicated channel so as not to cause interference to others; this keeps our flying environment as clear as possible.

On the other question, Hitec tx would need a Hitec crystal; JR would need a JR crystal, etc, etc, etc. But, of course, when you use a licensed service center, it will get the proper manufacturer's crystal.
