Default Spectrum 6i question



Can someone tell me what type of servos work with Spectrum 6i transmitter, Putting them in Great Planes Cherokee.

Modern servos are pretty much universal- any brand should work with your receiver. It looks like it takes standard size servos.

Also, keep in mind that Futaba servo plugs have an orientation fin on one side of the plug (signal wire side) that will unfortunately will have to be trimmed off to fit a JR, or Spektrum receiver.

Oops; I should have mentioned that. You can also use Universal extensions. They have plugs without the Futaba tab, and housings with the slot for the tab. That way they plug in to either brand, and accept any brand.

Still, one swipe with a hobby knife is all that is needed to get a Futaba to plug in to JR/Specktrum.

Thanks allfor the information, will definately check the futaba servo's and remove that piece with a hobby knife.. thanks again...

Actually, any reasonable limitations are more receiver than transmitter related.
Mainly voltage limits.
