How does one turn on the timer on this radio.

I have it programmed for the minutes needed, but the manual does not address activating it.

BTW, I have used this radio for some time without incident. If it had a decent operating manual I would like it.

Activate the timer in the same menu , and then turn it on and off with the most forward , right momentary switch. Pull switch toward you with right index finger for regular humans.

Well I'll be da*****, it works.

How did you find this information. I have searched the so-called manual from front to back. I've used the radio for a year without using the timer.

Here's the best manual I've found and I found it on pg 34 (timer, airplane section)

I'm going to try to attach the PDF here. It's the IMAX manual and I can't seem to attach it.
