I have a couple of these and they have been rock solid. Though -- I have not crashed them... They are my first choice for a PPM/FM receiver!

They are great receivers. Have used them in gas, glow, and electric. No combat, though.

Great receivers. Had on in my Pizazz then the battery fell out after the bottom hach fell off at 60ft in decending knife-edge. Well you know what that means. (the people in the pits "ohohohoh') CRACK. Yup end of Pizazz number 1. RX? Cracked case, broken xtal. Now: new xtal, electrical tape to hold the case together, works just fine in Pizazz number 2.

Moral of the story buy that HiTec Super-Slim Supreme NOWWWWWW.

They are bulletproof just like the 555. I have used in combat, 3D, sport flying. I have two of them. Next time I buy a Rx it will be another one.

Go for it, hitec makes real good receivers. I use them a lot and never had a glitch.
