Ace Nautical comander crystal problems
I went for the ace Nautical commander gold on my last ship, what a pain. I got the radio on channel 90 and have been trying to get other channels for 2 years from ace. They just won't deliver. does any one know what crystal set would work in this radio? The receiver is hitec but my distributer (Great Hobbies) tried Hitec crystals and said they did not work.
Any good answers to this problem would help make this radio usable at larger functions.

"Transmitter Crystals Can Not be changed to another channel except
by a licensed service center. It is against FCC regulations, and
illegal for the user to change a frequency determining component
of a transmitter. If the radio is not retuned, it can be a hazard
spectators, modelers or property."
