Can a Spektrum altimeter telemetry module be programmed in a DX7s to give an alarm when reaching a certain elevation above ground?

My local field has a 400' ceiling. I would like to have an alarm come on, on my DX7s Tx, when my plane reaches 350'. Or any other elevation I choose.

Is there a way to program this?

If not, can Spektrum get it going? Andy??

Hi Tom,

Yes, all you do is go to the telemetry menu (running the latest version?) and enable the altimeter. When you edit the settings for it, you set Display: Act then adjust the max altitude value and set an alarm type.

Well now that I have actually accessed the Telemetry menu, I can see that all sorts of items are configurable. This is very cool.
