There's no SD Card in the DX7

If you're talking about the DX-7S then thats a different matter.

The 7s has 20 model memory. There's no practical limit on the SD card. The smallest card you can find these days would hold every model on the planet.

If this is the DX7S, you can store Model Memories on the SD card but they have to be transferred into one of the Model Memories in the Tx in order to use. This will replace what is already in the Model Memory. In other words, you only have 20 Models stored on the Tx at any one time. You can Backup all the Models on your Tx to your SD card and store other Models on your SD card that you Download from Horizon or other places. Each time you Import a Model from the SD card it replaces one that is already in the Tx.

When you Import a file from the SD card to a Model memory in the Tax, it replaces what was in that Model Memory. The file on the SD card is still there.

it sounds like as long as you put them on the card you have unlimited space for thousands of airplanes! how cool is that?
