Radio control setup for FG
Looking for a new radio, I've been reading of range problems with the Spektrum DX3C. Is this widespread problem?
Another radio is Futaba 3PL
What types of batteries will I need? Car is FG Leopard Race. I can't remember what exact plug I have on the car switch. For RX pack Orion 6v Marathon XL 1900 Receiver Stick Pack? 6v or 6.6v?
For the transmitter pack, 4 X AA? Can you get heat shrinked packs for these two radio sets, is it ok to use rechargables? or a good idea to use a 5 cell rechargable pack to get voltage closer to 6v?
I don't have a charger yet.
I have a Hitec 845MG for throttle/brake. Not sure what servos using for steering, they're two quarter scale
