Default Old Futaba FP-7FGH helicopter radio for use with airplane

Has any one used this radio with airplanes. i have newer radios (futaba and hitec) but my old fg radios just have a better feel to me. one thing on it that could get a person in trouble real quick is the invert switch, will have to avoid that.

I "think" that's the old conquest radio. If so than yes you can. I used one on a Sig SE for about a year before the TX crapped out on me. I just diasabled or turned down all the heli functions using the pots.
