When using my DX7s trans. with a AR7000 rec. should I use DSM2 or DSMX mode?

You don't have a choice, it will bind in DSM2

Andy is correct because the AR7000 is only DSM2 capable.

Your DX7S is capable of both DSM2 and DSMX but will default to DSM2 during the bind process with the AR7000.

For future reference, if using an RX that is DSMX capable always choose DSMX over DSM2.

The nice part is, you don't have to do anything. Just leave it in DSMX mode and the transmitter and receiver will negotiate DSM2 vs. DSMX.
