Default DX7s: Extra Receivers

Hi I recently bougt a DX7s radio with an AR8000 Rx and it came 2 other Rx's, an AR6115e and an AR400. I found out the the AR6115e and the AR400 are for park flyer type a/c only. Horizon said these are not full range capability. I don't fly park flyers, my models are larger .60 type (60" ws and 8-10lb ) models. Can I use these Rx's for the larger models? Does anybody have any experience with these smaller Rx's?

Thanx, Mark

I don't have experience with the AR400 but the AR6115e is definitely a park flyer receiver. Personally I wouldn't use it on anything but a light foamie.

I have been using an AR6100e in a helicopter for 4 years with no issue. It is similar to the AR6115e just an older model.

I never fly the heli more than 200 meters away.

For larger models I would stick with the full range receivers.

I have three AR8000s, two in Helis and one in a fixed wing and they are a great receiver.

I checked the AR 400 Rx on the Horizon website and it does say it is a full range Rx. Guess I'll keep that one. The AR6115e however looks like it is a park flyer Rx. I don't have any use for that one. Thinking about selling it.
