Default Aileron and rudder trim is reversed on T8FG

I had a rather interesting flight today. My first flight on my old Dazzler with a T8FG trans and a R617FS rec. After takeoff I needed a touch of left trim, bumped the button a couple of times, things got interesting quickly. I decided I had a linkage problem and was able to land safely. What I found was that trimming left moved the ailerons to the right. Same problem with the rudder. I can find nothing in the manual about reversing trims and I cannot think of a time when you would want to do that.

I've flown the radio in other planes, this is the first time I've had this problem.

If you go into the System Menu, then the "H/W Set" section, and then the "H/W Reverse" option, you can see if the trims are reversed. It's on the second page. T1 through T4 can be reversed there.
