Default Making your own extensions and a quality crimping tool

One thing I hate is to have a fuselage that looks a mess with servo wires all wadded up. For years I have been cutting servo wires to shorten them and putting new connectors on them. I also found that when I shop at the local hobby shop for extensions I can only find them in 3, 6, 9, 12, 18 and 24 inch lengths long. Well that's good, but what if you need one that 7 1/2 inches.

I have also found it's a lot cheaper to make my own extensions. Well now I have found a better crimping tool. This one ratchets down completely and with the last click, your connector pin is crimped tight.

Here is the crimper I found at Servo City and at an affordable price. Actually it was only a few more dollars than the cheap one that is black with the red handles found else where.
