Default 3-Axis Aircraft Gyro System

hey guys... JR Part Number: JRPX02560

anyone have idea on this airplane gyro? does it work more or
less like a flybarless unit?

can one setup elevator, rudder and aileron and the gyro acts
on all of them simultaneously?

thanks

This gyro will work like the flybarless. You can set up elevator rudder and ailerons to act simultaneously. There are 3 modes off, normal and heading lock. I have not used yet but a friend has one and I have ordered one too. Sounds like it is going to be one of the best available. But it only works with DMSS XBUS System.

this looks pretty awesome... if it can work with gas engines with no influence from vibrating engine I will be impressed

Actually it will work with S-BUS also. I have a couple of these and am excited to try them out. Upgraded my XG11 XG11MV to the latest software a few weeks ago.

update me please as to how it goes about with gassers... if you are going to apply one to a gas engine...

The Demon Cortex works with gassers, I see no reason this one wouldn't if properly mounted.

What radio do you have? I'm led to believe that it requires SBus or XBus to run

I have the XG8 by JR...

but yes seeing its limited by those bus systems, makes more sense using a flybarless controller

It is not that easy to make a gyro system resistant to gasser vibs and does not only rely on using the right gyro sensor, but putting way more intelligence into the firmware. A long experience with the heli systems helped a lot, but still most systems in the heli market do not work well on gassers, especially when making use of accelerometers. So this statement needs to be technically prooved. Surely we will know in some months.

Hmm, the statement was made by watching guys fly the Cortex on their gas planes.

Oh yeah, I did not want to give the impression the CORTEX would not work on gassers...it does an awesome job there and is pretty well known for it Sorry if this was confusing.
I just wanted to point out, from the experience out of the heli sector, that this does not mean by default that any gyro would for sure work the same way on gassers, as this is the most difficult job to get done.
Sorry if I may have expressed this misleading or did not get your point correct.
