I've been running Airtronics since the early 80's and currently use the SD-10G but I just hate the bulky feeling of the TX. So, I've kinda been looking around at the JR & Futuba TX's and came across the FlySky i10. Very nice looking and it has a ton of options. I really like the thin design and the Smart phone appearance to the touch screen. I also like the rubber grips and bottom. The programming looks very simple. I'm just not to sure about the unknown with the cheap price. Anyone have one that switched from a high end TX?

There have been some issues with the transmitter. Do a search in RC Groups. The radio seems to be out of stock everywhere and may be in revision limbo for a while.

I am dyed in the wool Airtronics person. Still flying my RD6000's. These are not the sport or the super, these are the first ones to come out. I have 2 RD8000's love them, super easy to use and never ever ever a glitch hiccup or any type of interference. What got me I was building a little foam plane, $2.00 for the foam, $15.00 motor speed control, $3.00 for the battery, $12.00 for the servos and $80.00 for the Rx. Something wrong here. So I ordered a 9x. So glad I did. I have 12 Rx's and it has been bullet proof. Never a glitch or brown out. I bought mine from Leaders Hobby for $55.00 to the door. Rx's are less then $10.00 for a 6 channel. Plus you can mod the crap out of them. I have a color back light, flashed it with an open source firmware. I know have 20 model memory and can mix anything with anything else.

I have been looking at the i10. I have the iT4 car radio and love it. The color touch screen is pretty nice. It has been a non issue too. Never had a problem with it loosing signal or glitching. If it works as well as the 9x, it will be a great radio. They went fast. They were in stock then sold out in no time.

Thanks for the info. Diamond Hobby will be getting them back in stock later this month. Since they handle the warranty and are the service center for this TX I may just have to try one.

Hi I have the turnigy i10 which is identical and the one thing I love about this is that I can cut the transmitter power by 100 during my range test.
In my fly zone I at most get a 6% error
