Default G-force expander

Hello I have purchased a telemetry sensor for my Flight Datra recorder (eagletree). It is the 2 axis sensor. Aht is the best placement for this sensor? oBviously I am interested in measuring the Z axis, but how do I have to place the sendor, to measure the longitudinal axe of the plane G's or the side G's (parallel to the wings) What information is better suited? Also is there a benefit in using a 3 axis g-meter? The FDR wont suppoort the 3 axis meter.

Spektrum makes a 3-axis g-sensor. Two axes have more range than others.
