Default New to rc...need some help with Grasshopper.

I recently bought a Tamiya Grasshopper that has a Tamiya stock 380 -S Motor. I have a Futaba 2DR AM R162JE - 27/75MHz Transmitter. It has two S3003 Standard Servos with two X-Shaped Arms, FUTM0031.

I now need a speed controller. I don't know how many turns the Tamiya 380 -S Motor has, so I don't know what to get. Will the Futaba MC230CR work with this configuration? If not, do you have one to recommend? Would the Tamiya TEU-105BK be a better choice?

Secondly, I am considering getting a Tamiya 380 Sport-Tuned Motor for my Tamiya Grasshopper. I read that it is a 29 turn motor. I have the Futaba 2DR AM R162JE - 27/75MHz Transmitter. It has two S3003 Standard Servos with two X-Shaped Arms, FUTM0031.

What Futaba speed controller would work with that configuration? I read that the Futaba MC230CR operates motors that are 20 turns up to 27 turns. This Tamiya 380 Sport-Tuned Motors has 29 turns. Will the Futaba MC230CR work with this configuration? If not, do you have one to recommend? Again, would the TEU-105BK esc be a better choice?

I think grasshoppers are currently dormant in their 17 year cycle. You might have to wait a bit

So that's why I haven't seen any this year. But this one was imported from Japan, if that makes a difference.
