Hi hey does anybody out that got one of theses car radios know if its safe to charge one from a LG cell phone charger on the usb cord it takes so long on my dvd player to charge it wondering if its safe and faster thank you if anyone knows thank you Redjet78

I am charging my GT-3c from a 900ma phone charger (Samsung). I would stay with a low current charger just to be safe. Figure a 1C charge is about 800 mA, my 900 was close. A 2 amp (2000 mA) might be too much current.
But my unit charges correctly with my older, low mp charger.
