Hitec Flash 8 channel vs Futaba FASST 8 channel
So I am in the market for a new 2.4 radio.. these 2 are my 2 picks. I have had a hitec PCM prism 7 for years and its been awesome to me. Im doing some reviews and im leaning towards the futaba. I don't like the fact that futaba radios don't come with batteries or charger. ive researched FHSS and DSSS etc and seems futaba is better. I want some honest feed back people. I don't wanna buy because of a name. Im looking at user friendliness, quality, support, etc. thanks in advance.. Brian

You should check out the Tactic 850. I have Spectrum, Hitec, Futaba and Airtronics 2.4GHz systems. All are very good but, IMHO the Tactic is the best buy for the money, easy to program although the instruction manual is a little short in explaining how to do some of the more complex programming as are all the other brands. Tactic receivers are also very reasonably priced and the SCT rivals Futaba's FAAST for dependability and interference free operation.
