Multiple Idle speeds on DX9
#1

Hey all I need help understanding the BEST and LEAST complicated way to setup multiple idles for my DLE55 on my 25% Yak 54...
Plane is not relevant I guess..
But I want to have a high idle for high G maneuvers and then a lower one on the ground...
What is the best way to do this on a DX9
Thanks
Chris

G'day Clavin,
I had the same problem with my OS GT33, so I did a throttle to throttle mix, put it on the back left switch, Switch "A" I believe it is, you may need to play with the amount of mix % & the direction whether it is + positive or - negative, then I set up a custom voice that says, "IDLE DOWN ON " & "IDLE DOWN OFF" & set my normal idle speed a bit high. Then when I'm flying my idle is a bit higher than I might normally use, but when I'm landing I can flick the switch, & my idle comes down to a good landing speed. I found about 3% down works for me, but you can use whatever suits you.
Cheers Al.
