Default DX7s Transmitter Timer Operation

I have a DX7s transmitter and I usually set up my Timer to start counting down at 75% throttle. The throttle set to low when the transmitter is turned on and the timer does not start counting down until the throttle is advanced past the 75% point.

I'm trying to set up a different airplane now and had to set the throttle servo from Normal to Reverse. Now when I turn on the transmitter, the timer starts counting down immediately, even though the throttle is set to low.

Now I can't figure out how to get the Timer to only start when I advance the throttle past the 75% point.

I know the timer can be reset by using the CLEAR function on the screen, but I don't want to use that, or the Trainer Button because I forget to press it before takeoff.

Any ideas?

Throttle is positive only, IIRC.

I figured that out. Will try to remember to push the "Clear" button before takeoff.

Later, I'll put a servo in that operates the other way.

Thanks.
