RC Car Remote Controller Missing

Hello, I have a Radio Shack Sound Bat II without a controller. I looked all over and inside for clues on what frequency it is running but cannot find it. I searched the web, and have no answers. How can I get this car running? What controller do I need? Or will I have to mod it?

Also, where can I find spare parts? I have included a picture of it.
