Default Spektrum ar8000 advice

Hi guys. Just getting into drones. I bought an eachine falcon 210 pro and am trying to get it to work with my spektrum dx8. The falcon comes with a flysky receiver with all of the escs going into a channel port using a standard channel plug. I think this might be called sw. I have plugged ina a spektrum ar8000 receiver instead but the software for the quad, Librepilot askes what protocol to use. I can't seem to get any receiver input in the program even though the quad shows up fine - gyros etc, in the program. The new receiver and sattelite as been paired btw.
Thanks

Thanks. I'm going to try taking the sattelite part of the ar8000 and connecting it into the flexi port on the cc3d which says is can handle spektrum DSM. I guess I will need a BEC to get a voltage of 3.3v as the voltage from the flexi port doesn't say how much it is
