I am new in this game and need some assistance setting up the DX8e for a P-51D Mustang 1.2m BNF Basic with AS3X and SAFE Select
How do you set up switches for landing gear, flaps and safe select?
Also the setups for the other functions
The manuals isn't very clear on the setup procedure
This is what the manual indicates
Dual Rates:
Hi Rate Low Rate
Ail 12mm, 8mm
Ele 15mm, 11mm
Rud 15mm, 10mm
Flaps Landing=50mm, Takeoff=11mm

Flight Timer
Setting 5 minutes

1. Go to the SYSTEM SETUP
2. Set MODEL TYPE: AIRPLANE
3. Set WING TYPE: 1 AIL 1 FLAP
4. Go to the FUNCTION LIST
5. Set SERVO SETUP: Reverse GEAR
6. Set FLAP SYSTEM: Choose Flap
NORM: 100% FLAP
MID: 0% FLAP
LAND: -90% FLAP
SPEED 2.0S: SWITCH = FLAP

It is usually the first time which seems extremely complicated?

I sure hope you get a response. I have used an DX8 for 6 years with no problems setting up elevator dual rates. I can't get it to work on elevators for the new one.
