Default Futaba 12Z - Mixing Flaps with Elevator ?

Hi, Iím looking to mix flaps with elevator (Futaba 12Z) and cannot find an easy way to do it. My flap is on a 3-position switch. When I put the flap switch in the middle I want about 2mm of down elevator. When I put the switch all the way down I want about 4mm of down elevator. For some reason, I cannot find a easy way to do this.

I do not have a 12Z, but most radios in that class, it was the top of the line when it came out, have a built in "Flap Sys" or something close. It will allow you to do what you want with ease. There generally are some channel restrictions in order to make that function work.

I'm just guess here, but I think that radio has two main menu's, Model and System, look in the system menu or what ever that menu is called. I could look at my Futaba's, but I do not think looking at an 18SZ or MZ will help.

You might also ask a moderator to move this question (they do not like the same question posted in multiple threads) to the Futaba support forum. Bill keeps a pretty good eye on that forum for questions and he's the really Futaba question guy.

Check the futaba-forum .net. That's awesome how quick your questions will be answered.
