I have a cheap and cheerful RC car using a Radline Elite Series RTX-1 controller. It has been stored for many months. Took it out and replaced all batteries and it worked fine for about 5 minutes and then stopped working. I noticed the Band Select light on the controller was flashing red. I turned off the controller and turned back on. The car worked again and the band select light was constant red. Then after about 30 seconds it stopped again with the band select light flashing. Tried off/on again and it worked for about 5 seconds.
Is there a known fault that has these symptoms. Seems light an inner component is warming up and failing.
Any ideas before I bin the lot?
