Default JR DSM R1221 2.4 Receiver

I have a JR DSM R1221 2.4 receiver. I also have 3 serial ports for the satellites. When I bind the receiver, the satellites do not come on. However, the receiver does have its light on. Is this an indication that something is wrong with the receiver or does this receiver even need the satellites?

That rx requires 3 satellites. You must make sure that the satellites match the RF format of the main rx; DSM2 main unit MUST have DSM2 sats, DSMX MUST have DSMX sats.

One of the sats MUST be plugged into Port "A". If they do not go into the bind mode, then you must check the satellite rx leads, they frequently go bad from vibration and people using them to disconnect the satellite rx's instead of using the connector.

Do the receivers blink rapidly when you put the base into bind mode? If not, it may be that you have the wrong remotes. There were DSM2 remotes, and DSMX remotes. Which are you using?
