I'm looking for recievers that are Hitec 9x Transmitter compatible. Who makes them and where do I start ? I fly 60 and up size airplanes.

I`m using original hitec receiver all way long, with big helicopters and medium size planes, perfect choice for your case is Optima 7

I believe for another option we have only FrSky Delta-8, don't know any other compatible receivers

Try Aloft hobbies. They have two hitec compatible receivers. I have bought 4 Delta 8s there, but I don't see them on their web site anymore. The Delta 8s work great if you van get them anywhere.
