Default Old servos - JR 4131 - on LiFe 6.6v

Hello,

This has certainly been asked several times... But I don't find the answer...

Can older 6v rated servos, such as the JR 4131, be used with a 6.6V LiFe pack without a regulator?

Thank you!

Generally always yes. I've done it for many years now on a variety of old servos - from cheapest economy to very high end. You'll find a bump in torque and speed, especially if coming from 4.8v NiCads. One of the many advantages to going to LiFe.

Moving up to LiPo's, on the other hand, can be a bridge too far....
