Default Use of MOTOR for electric safety

Hi, I have a Hobby King Lancaster and 16 IZ, 7006 combo. The instructions say mix throttle to aux 1, rudder to throttle and rudder to aux 1 to allow the rudder stick to control the engines for yaw. I recently cut my leg due to hitting the throttle with an armed aircraft (and complacency!!) and note that replacing THROTTLE with MOTOR on my single engines aircraft allows me to arm the motor with a rotary switch (LD) after connecting the battery - thus disabling the throttle stick till needed. On the Lancaster if I select MOTOR only 1 set of engines run whereas both sets run with THROTTLE selected. Do I need to change aux 1 to motor, or is there something else I need to do? Thanks. Colin

Default

On the 16IZ I would use COnditions to set up a safe start up conditions. Simply set a zero throttle curve in this condition. This is how I set up all my electric models.
