The 14Sg has a vibrate function on the timer that works well. The trouble with the Beep timer is that the volume isn't too loud and if you have any high frequency hearing loss, it is hard to hear. I have hearing aids and if I am the only one flying glow engines, I am fine, but if there is a lot of other noise or distraction, I have trouble hearing it. The vibrate only works at the end of the time set and not the one minute beeps, but you can definitely feel it,

If you plug a speaker into the 3.5 plug at the back of the radio, you can actually hear a voice countdown. Check bottom of the page "T14SG/FX-22 Software Update Changes (Version 4.X)". You can also select one of the two knobs (LD or RD) to control the volume. Another option is to use a Bluetooth adapter that plugs into the back to the transmitter and hear the countdown on a Bluetooth earpiece.

I am not allowed to post links to websites, but if you go to Futaba USA's website you can download the 14SG manual which includes instructions for the software updates.

I no longer have the T14SG but it is an excellent radio. I upgraded to the T18SZ. The only downside is that I cannot control the volume with one of the knobs. I have to use the touchscreen for that, which is not as convenient as you cannot raise or lower the volume while you are flying like I used to with the T14SG.

Hope this information is helpful.
