Default Dual elevator help w/ the old 9C

I have a futaba 9CHP that i recently dusted off & got a 2.4 module & reciever for it . Ive tried to figure out how to use ch5 for 2nd elevator servo. I thought I finally figured it out till I realized the ch5 servo was moving w/ch 2 servo but only in one direction. Ive changed the values, reversed the ch5 servo , i tried every combination i could think of still only working in one direction (down). If anyone has any suggestions i would sure appreciate it !!!!. TIA

make a complete new model entry
in the aircraft type screen
choose tail and select the offering that shows 2 elevator servos. should show something similar to elev1 elev2, not the one that shows ele for both halves of the stab.

then continue with the rest of the set up

Go to advanced menu, (Push and hold mode button for Basic menu then up arrow button toggles between both menus). Go to Prog mix 1 (or any unused #). Go to page 2 (Up arrow toggles between pages) Set MIX:: ON, MAS: ELEV, SLV: GEAR, LINK: OFF, TRIM: ON, SW: A, POSI: NULL. Go to page 1 (up arrow) set rate at 100%up 100%down (Elevator stick toggles between Rate selections). Push end button, go to Basic menu) Reverse ch 5 in basic menu, Push end button to exit. Confirm operation in Basic menu SERVO. Go fly.

Check AUX Channel selection in Basic menu to ensure CH 5 switch is NULL to prevent inadvertent operation.

Wrong answer. Trim only works on one surface if you do it that way if memory serves.

9c-manual-v1_2.pdf

a link to the actual manual.
hint: look at ailavetor

might come in handy to book mark it or download it and save for future reference.

and zeeb was not referencing your post, but, rather that that particular forum is only for bill to answer questions in.

?? I guess asking how to program the 9C isn't a relevant question ??
After reading everyone's replys the one thing I havent tried is checking aux ch selection to null. Is that a different setting than assigning the default switch to null?? because Ive done that

Its all covered in the manual .....
Select Ailevator for tail type when selecting your wing type.
This automatically sets up dual elevator channels that are synchronised together.

No need for any program mixers at all.
