Default Futaba T7CAP throttle problem

I have a T7CAP Futaba and I would like to put it in an old boat for my great grandson for his pool. I can’t seem to get the throttle to come down. I don’t know much about computer programming so I’m asking for some help. I checked the STK – MD and it’s on 2, Also checked throttle reverse and it states normal. I don’t know what else to touch for fear I might really screw it up. Can anyone help me in this dilemma. I know that there is a video about programming the 7CHP/CAP but it is on YouTube and it is just terrible. I cannot even see some of the video right where I need it. They said they got it from RC universe and remade it but it didn’t work out. Please help thank you

Two areas to check:

1. If in Airplane mode, see if Throttle-Cut is active. If so, set to "INH" for Inhibit (page 33 in manual)
2. If in Helicopter mode, see if Throttle-Hold is active. If so, set to "INH" for Inhibit (page 67 in manual)

Either of these settings being active can cause the throttle to not move.

Also check to see if the throttle is Reversed ( page 31 in manual). With most Futaba transmitters driving electric models, the throttle must be in Reverse.

You can also adjust the end point in programming along with trim.

Thanks for getting back to us with your solution. Teaches us to look at "all" points of use during troubleshooting.

Glad you went further than our suggestions to find the culprit.

Good luck.
