12FG user and like it.....i also have 2 9zs WC2 radios...love'em...but can they be made to operate on 2.4 gig?....

Some guy over on RCGroups has got six of 'em, four used and two new.

RCGroups is really the only place to look for used/new electronics anymore.

Also, the 9Z WC2 (all versions too) can be made 2.4Ghz compatible. For Futaba you need to find a Futaba TM-8 or TM-7 Module. They were produced by Futaba some time ago when 2.4 was in it's infancy. They pop up occasionally for sale. Expect to pay around $80-$100 for either.

Spektrum also made a plug in module to fit Futaba, a DM-8. It is DSM2 only but operates most Spektrum receivers except possibly the newest versions. Those too pop up occasionally.
