I have a 2nd generation Conscendo (3S 1300) glider bound to an old DX-5-E with the AS3X activated. I applied the Safe Select Panic mode (both sticks to the low inside then toggle the trainer switch 5 times). I want to eliminate this function, get rid of it and keep the AS3X. How do I "erase" this? Thanks in advance.

Pages 8-9 of the manual cover the subject, Bill.

From the top of page 9, "If the aircraft is bound with SAFE Select disabled, the aircraft will be in AS3X mode exclusively." Go back to page 8 to see how to do that.

You can rebind the plane. Check the manual. Bind can be done to enable or disable safe.

The plane manual or transmitter manual? I don't have the manual for the DX5E, I did the sticks to the low inner corner and 5X on the trainer switch, the AS3X functions well. I simply want to get rid of the panic mode. Any rebinding tricks? Simple at first to enable it now I want to dump it. TIA Bill

Go to page 8 to follow the bind instructions to disable SAFE Select. The quote from page 9 tells you that that's how you do what you want to do.

Got it thnx. Do you mean the LVRCS E-fly coming up next weekend? There is a big jet event at Buc-Le in Quakertown, Pa next weekend also.
