My radio tx dose not switch on some times.
when I insert & remove them charging connector once or twice, it works.
I think the battery charging socket has a loose connexion.
I tried to open the tx to investigate but by removing the screws the back cover dose not come out. it is stuck somewhere inside.
Any help to open my tx is highly appreciated.

There are 8 screws that have to come out...4 larger ones in the main body of the transmitter, two up near the antenna housing and 2 in the "handle". You'll also have to unscrew the antenna...then the back should come off.

I had the same problem with my RD6000. I sent it back to Airtronics and they put in a new charging jack, works fine now.
