Default Hitec servos in 1/4 scale giles, but which ones?

I've got a Creek Hobbies 1/4 scale giles. I need sevos for it but this is my first big plane. I have no clue on what type of servo to use. Hitec has always provided me with geat sevos. I was thinking, 2 HS-605BB servos in the wing (one on each aliron), one HS-605BB on each elevator half and a HS-5735MG on the rudder. What do you guys think?

I had a GP 25% Giles. I used HS-5645MGs on the ailerons, HS-5625s on the elevators and a HS-5945 on the rudder.

The digitals were really onle necessary on the elevator. This plane uses very little throw on that surface, so the precision was necessary.

Hitec 6xx servos will be fine on all surfaces of your Giles. Unless your plane requires extra precision - these servos are strong and reliable but aren't the most precise.

As for the 5735 - don't do it.

Great servo, but really not necessary for this application. Its far too big and heavy.

I have a Giant Scale Planes Katana (72" w/s) with an RCS 180 gas engine. I have about 100 flights on this plane with Hitec 605s on the rudder (1), elevator (2), and 425s on the ailerons (1 ea aileron). I have a 6 volt battery to boost the speed and torque a little. No problams with this setup what so ever.

I would try the 5975. It is a great servo.

I was considering the Futaba 9202's. They are coreless but not digital. Would you suggest them on a elevator?

9202s are well-liked by heli pilots as cyclic servos. They're strong, precise and don't suck as much power as digitals.

I've got a 9202 on the throttle of my DP Extra. It came with the plane. Just sayin.
