Horizon has them but may be filling backorders making it hard to get them immediately. I ordered some when the rumor mill fired up
and received an e-mail from them the other day saying they were in and checking to make sure I still wanted them.

Well before I jump again on the new product hype bandwagon, lets hear from the guys who have them (not the JR guys). Has the slop been eliminated? Has anyone flown them yet? They may be more powerful than the Hitec 5945 and if all the claims by JR are accurate, then it sounds like the best servo yet. Only downfall I see is the lack of programmability like the Hitecs. I am waiting to see how the 8611's are before I make my decision for a 33% Edge. It's either the new 8611 or the 5945's.

I doubt any consumer have thouroughly tested any of these new jr 8611s as they are now just released. Should be many more months before we get real testing information back on them.
